• No accounts. You don't sign up, and we don't ask for your name or email.
• Deadline calculator: runs entirely in your browser. Dates you enter are not sent to us. Calendar files are generated on your device.
• Research and citation check: your search words and pasted citations go through our server to CourtListener (Free Law Project) to get results. We don't save them. Results may be cached for up to 24 hours by search text only, with no information about who searched. CourtListener has its own privacy policy.
• Feedback (optional): if you tap 👍/👎 and type what was missing, we store only the date, the tool name, your vote, and your comment after we automatically remove names, phone numbers, emails, addresses, and case numbers. Stored feedback is deleted automatically after 120 days. It is used only to improve the tool.
• No ads, no tracking cookies, no analytics scripts. One setting is stored in your browser so the disclaimer isn't shown every time. Our host (Cloudflare) processes IP addresses to deliver the site and stop abuse. We use them in short-lived memory only, for rate limiting.
• Please don't type Social Security numbers, children's names, health information, or case numbers into any box (see Ill. S. Ct. R. 138 on personal identity information).
• AI: if the optional plain-language feature is on, only quotes from public court opinions are sent to Cloudflare Workers AI. Your input is never sent to it.
